Palawa Kipli Tour - Terms and Conditions
Palawa Kipli has present Terms & Conditions of Tours and these must be adhered to by any Booking Office and Individuals whilst on tour.

TOUR MAXIMUM: Thirty (30) maximum attendees for Kipli Takara private group tours Fifteen (15) Maximum tickets sold for public tours
TOUR MAXIMUM: Ten (10) ticket minimum applies to publicly sold tours – if this number is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel the tour, giving a minimum of 36- hours notice. There is no minimum for private group bookings.
PAYMENT: All bookings are preferred to be pre-paid at the time of booking, any clients who have agreed credit, will be invoiced to the Booking Company and all invoices are payable at 14 days unless agreed by both parties. Payment received later than the nominated payment period may incur interest and late fees. All prices are stated in AUD and are GST inclusive.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Public Tours: Any bookings cancelled within three (3) days of booking date, will incur a 25% cancellation fee. Any bookings cancelled within twenty four (24) hours of booking date, and including any no shows will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
Private Charter: Any bookings cancelled within seven (7) days of booking date, will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Any bookings cancelled within three (3) days of booking date and including any no shows will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
Pre-Payment of at least 50% is required to confirm group bookings. Payment in full is required at least 7 days prior to scheduled booking date.
- No refund can be given for any unused services if cancelled unless a date change has been agreed to at least (7) days prior to booked date.
- Should a booking include any external operator inclusions, cancellation fees are in line with the external operators cancellations policy and an administration fee may be applicable to components that Palawa Kipli is liable for.
- We encourage our customers to purchase travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances. - There will be times when the influence of mother nature on a program or activity means we need to amend or cancel the program. It is a decision purely based on safety and overall enjoyment of an activity. When we cancel a trip we will offer reschedules and full refunds.
- International visitors who are subject to a postponed or rescheduled tour due to inclement weather, cancellation or unavailability from Palawa Kipli will receive a 100% refund. Palawa kipli will advise and negotiate with ITO’s and international visitors at least 7 days prior to departure date or earlier if possible.
RESCHEDULED TOURS: Groups can request a reschedule within seven (7) days of delivery date. Due to administrative capacity we will offer only one (1) reschedule per customer or group. Customers can request reschedule no later than three (3) days from tour date. If the reschedule is requested within three (3) days of scheduled tour, fall under our cancellation terms and conditions. In the instance of Palawa Kipli cancelling the tour, we will offer those guests rescheduled tickets prior to offering refunds.
NO SHOWS: Full cancellation applies and will be billed to the Booking Agent/ Guest
RELEASE OF BOOKINGS: If any of the afore mentioned conditions are not met, Palawa Kipli reserves the right to release all bookings.
WEATHER POLICY: No responsibility will be accepted for adverse weather conditions. Attendees are expected to dress/prepare for forecast conditions. Due to weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances, the operator reserves the right to alter the itinerary or cancel the tour.
CHILDREN POLICY: Children are welcome to participate under supervision of a Parent or Guardian. Palawa Kipli accepts no responsibility for the supervision of children. Parents must accept all responsibilities for their child(ren). The tours cover some sensitive content and are most suited for children aged 9 years old and over.

• The itinerary of each tour may be changed or cancelled due to weather and road conditions. • The tour operator does not accept any responsibility for the loss or damage to personal items.
• Palawa Kipli will not be held responsible for any accidental personal injuries sustained by clients. • Prices are current as at January 2025
• Please contact us directly for any queries. • We reserve the right to stop any of our guests from continuing the tour if they breach our safety standards, or if the guest is behaving in an unacceptable manner or are affected by any substance, or if we have any concern about the guest’s safety or the safety of others, at our sole discretion
• Please kindly note that no video footage or voice recording is allowed to be taken on the tour, unless by prior application and approval of footage and use.
• The Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre / Palawa Kipli retains the right to all images on our respective websites. • Images of our products, services, premises and staff are not to be used without prior informed consent – including for marketing purposes
